Kioku Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information through Kioku. The app has no user registration, no login system, no analytics service, and no server-side account database.

2. Your Content

Notes, saved web pages, markdown files, PDFs, drawings, voice recordings, photos, and other library content you add to Kioku remain on your device or in storage locations you choose through Apple system features, such as local storage or iCloud Drive.

Kioku does not upload your library content to Kioku or Coding Collie servers.

3. Network Access

Kioku is designed to work offline and does not make web calls to operate its core library, reading, writing, search, or study features.

If you save a web link, the app may access the URL you provide so it can save that page into your local library. That request is made directly from your device to the website you chose, not to Kioku or Coding Collie servers.

4. Permissions

Kioku may request access to device features only when needed for app functionality, such as microphone access for voice capture, speech recognition for processing voice memo content, or photo library access when you choose to add images. Permission data is used locally for the feature you selected.

5. Sharing and Selling Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information. Because Kioku does not collect personal information through a server, there is no Kioku server-side user data for us to sell or share.

6. Data Deletion

You control your Kioku library files. You can delete content inside the app, remove files from the storage location you selected, or uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Kioku does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kioku changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
